Walking around the Chelsea/Meatpacking/West Village area is perfect because my sisters just moved to Chelsea this year and I haven't explored that area yet. Our trip is in a couple months but I will definitely let you know if I have any questions. Thanks!Nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08510964554774250279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5934716126736718743.post-781249379255816182012-08-13T20:34:34.005-07:002012-08-13T20:34:34.005-07:00Hi Natalie, try to visit the Highline in the West...Hi Natalie, try to visit the Highline in the West Village. It's an old elevated train track that was converted into a park. From there, you can walk around the hip Meatpacking District and try one their many fabulous bars and restaurants. You can also visit the Chelsea Market nearby. (9th Avenue between 15th ad 16th St .) Also, for more local vibe, go to one of the many quaint restaurants that line the Hudson St in West Village.
Definitely do the Brookyn Bridge. The view of the Manhattan skyline from there is spectacular. I live in NYC and see the sight of skyline almost everyday and never get tired of it.
I recommend Golden Unicorn for Dimsum. Have fun. And let me know if you have any questions.Marisol@TravelingSolemateshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11152801292753119882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5934716126736718743.post-4749258937893928742012-08-13T18:33:40.412-07:002012-08-13T18:33:40.412-07:00We're really looking forward to our trip. There's just something for everyone! But be prepared to marvel at how expensive the city is.
RSVP restaurantRSVPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06091320683891651635noreply@blogger.com
